Our Privacy policy is simple. Any information we receive from you will not be shared with anyone else, and we'll never use it for anything else without your consent. For example, we don't share your private information with advertisers or third parties. Best practices are followed to ensure your data remains private and secure.

The Information We Collect And Store

We may collect and store the following information when running the cloudHQ Service:

When you register an account, we collect some personal information, such as your name, email address. Payment is handled by PayPal and Stripe so we are not storing credit card or other billing information.

When you use the Service, we automatically record information from your web browser. This may include the Device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, the web page visited before you came to our website, information you search for on our website, and locale preferences.

We also use “cookies”. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your Device. We use “persistent cookies” to save your registration ID and authenticaion information for future logins to the Service. We also use “session ID cookies” to enable certain features of the Service, to better understand how you interact with the Service and to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing on the Service. You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, you will not be able to use the Service. This cookie persists in your browser, and you can delete these cookies using your browser settings.

Data Storage

cloudHQ is sync and replication service so no data is persistently stored on cloudHQ servers. To provide you with the cloudHQ Services, we may replicatie your data using servers around the world - including those outside your country. Please contact us if your data must be transfered using only servers located in certain country.

Data Retention

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, you may delete your account. We may retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Consistent with these requirements, we will try to delete your information quickly upon request. Please note, however, that there might be latency in deleting information from our servers and backed-up versions might exist after deletion.

Law & Order

We may disclose your information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with the law; (b) protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; (c) prevent fraud or abuse of our users; or (d) protect cloudHQ's property and intellectual rights.

In compliance with the US-EU and US-Swiss Safe Harbor Principles, cloudHQ commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information. European Union or Swiss citizens with inquiries or complaints regarding this privacy policy should first contact cloudHQ at privacy@cloudHQ.net

cloudHQ is subject to oversight by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. JAMS is the US-based independent organization responsible for reviewing and resolving complaints about our Privacy Shield and Safe Harbor compliance - free of charge to you. We ask that you first submit any such complaints directly to us via privacyshield@cloudHQ.net. If you aren't satisfied with our response, please contact JAMS at https://www.jamsadr.com/eu-us-privacy-shield. In the event your concern still isn't addressed by JAMS, you may be entitled to a binding arbitration under Privacy Shield and its principles.

Model Contract Clauses for Business Users

In addition to participating in the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework, cloudHQ offers a data-processing amendment and model contract clauses as an additional means of meeting the adequacy and security requirements of the European Parliament and Council of the European Union Data Protection Directive. This agreement can be accepted and reviewed after purchasing cloudHQ Business Plan on your account page. To review and accept this amendment, you must be signed as admin of cloudHQ domain. Changes to our Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. If we make a change to this privacy policy that we believe materially reduces your rights, we will provide you with notice (for example, by email). And we may provide notice of changes in other circumstances as well. By continuing to use the Service after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
